Cimelsa finalizes the facilities of the new I-COVID COMPACT hospital

In August 2020, Cimelsa was awarded the construction of a new hospital called I-COVID COMPACT in the area of the Pere Virigili Health Park in Barcelona, managed by Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus.

The hospital has 4 floors with capacity for more than 100 ICU beds through modular industrialized construction and using a collaborative project planning tool within the Lean Construction methodology (Last Planner System and BIM Manager plan).
